"New" Interior This photograph of the interior was taken in 2008. Most of the essential changes have been made. The blue-green shag rug is long gone, replaced by interlocking "planks" that look like wood, but are really high quality imitations. The fireplace has been replaced by a new model that is both more efficient and approved by insurance companies. The walls have been painted a light color. The furniture has been updated. A ceiling fan has been installed that provides a "breeze" in summer and better distributes the heat in winter. The sound system is visible, complete with an attached TV that has both VHS and DVD players. The photograph was taken from the balcony overlooking the living room. The two bedrooms are off this balcony.  This is a view showing the stairs leading up to the two bedrooms on the second floor. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two twin beds (which can be made into a super king sized bed). All in all, we can accommodate six people comfortably: two in each bedroom, plus two on the sofa bed in the front room. It could be tight with only one bathroom, but we can comfortably sleep six.
